I am sad...

I found out a friend of ours was found dead this morning. No sign of suicide, no sign of foul play, no sign of a struggle.

HIs ex girlfriend found him dead. He was only 32 years old. He was supposed to go to New Orleans with us. I am so saddened by it all, I cannot believe it. I keep seeing his laugh in my mind as he had this unique expression when he laughed.

I was told that he was already in rigor when he died so he had been dead for quite some time. I want to know what happened.

So sorry to hear that you lost your friend.

I recently lost a friend of mine suddenly and didn't find out until after the visitation and the funeral was out of town.

It takes a lot of tears and time to make any sense out of it.

Gosh....how terrible! I'm curious as to what could have happened also. I'm sure they'll probably do an autopsy...which is pretty standard in the case of an unexplained death.

I'm so sorry that you lost your friend. It's always such a shock when we lose someone unexpectedly that way.

Thanks guys, you are going to get me started again.

We went to visit his house today after we heard - we needed to know what happened so saw his landlord who told us a little bit and then visited the ex girlfriend.

Something is off. She kept talking about the money he owed her and how she was going to get it back. And then we walked past her truck and there was hundreds of dollars in her truck. Why leave that sitting there in the front seat?

I read his final email to the girl he loved. He talked of cutting that ex girlfriend out of his life so that he can heal from past hurts and be with this girl. It was a positive note, he was looking forward to being with her when he was fully healed.

Maybe I am just thinking paranoid thoughts because he was so young and full of life.

Gosh, I am going to miss him. I loved teasing him a lot as he would react in a funny way.

While you need to grieve now, it might be a good idea to write down your thoughts, ect, why you feel "something is off", it may never be important but it may at some point, I am hoping it won't be~

My condolences to you dear Kellye. When someone young dies there are no words in any dictionary to express your grief. Lets hope that was a natural death, and it was sudden and therefore he did not experience any pain.
