Why me???

Here's one for the "embarrassing" pages of my life..............

Before I came home from work today, I stopped at Tops to buy some groceries. Well, I was minding my own business, (really I was) and this little old man comes up to me and says, "Are those real?" Well, at first I didn't know what he was talking about. I was holding some peaches, and so in response, I said, "Well yes, if they weren't real, they'd be plastic" Then his wife, equally as old, came up and told "Richard" to quit harrassing young women about thier chests! He shuffled off with his wife after she apologised and I stood their in a daze wondering what the heck just happened!
WHY ME? It really hit me what my reply to his question was a few seconds later and I laughed all the way home!

Oh Susie....that's priceless! LOL I work with a lot of old people at the hospital and some of them say the darndest things.

Tooo funny! I don't know what's up with elderly people. My grandmother says some stuff that she KNOWS is not appropriate or rude. My mother always reminds her that just because she's over 80 doesn't give her a license to be rude. That does top anything my grandmother would say, though!

I remember when my grandfather was in a nursing home and there were a lot of Alzheimer's patients there. There was this one lady who would sit in the hall in her wheelchair and whenever a man walked by....she would yell, "Nice ass!" We all just laughed at her everytime we went to see my grandfather.

Hey Susie, I think that's just grand! And right after your procedure....you should feel great! Take it as a compliment!

That reminds me of when we were in Ft Collins this summer. We were looking for some plastic fake breasts for a halloween costume. My hubby walked up to this girl working there and said "Do you have fake breasts?"

I stopped and turned around to him... I was like 'did you just ask her what I thought you did?' We all started laughing. Luckily she'd been asked that before, and knew what he meant. LOL

That reminds of when a guy from the garage next door came into reception, and during our conversation he was keep looking at my chest which got on my nerves that much i said "Oi speak to my face not to my chest!"

I had a FIL like that. He had alzheimers and he'd say the darndest stuff as well as suddenly bursting into song ("The Battle Hymn of the Republic" was his favorite). He once even offered to be my bra for me (now THAT was embarrassing).

ROFLOL! Suzie, that wasn't the one in Solon was it? If so, I'll have to watch out for the guy next time I am there.
