first i was just excited 'cause i got to upgrade to a new avatar, as i'm finally back to my pre-downtime status...
then i noticed at the bottom a chance to use a custom avatar! so i got a pic of Mouse that i made small enough - & it worked!

yippee for me!

Yay! Very cool - I remember how surprised I was when I realized I could make my own avatar - very big day!

Cool! I thought you had to have over 700 posts to have a custom avatar? I'll have to figure out which one I want to use when I'm able to have a custom one.

You all are correct. You are supposed to have 700 posts for a custom avatar. One of the settings in the admin panel was incorrect. I am not going to eliminate yours, laureen, but other Alpha Cats.....you don't get the custom avatar option until you reach 700.

wow, then it really was my lucky day! i went to change it to an alpha cat avatar, but noticed the option at the bottom, so i went for it. thanks Deb25 - i appreciate it! i'll work on getting to 700 so it's all legal!
