Am I the only one who picks up the wrong things in the grocery store?

Am I going crazy or something, but when I am rushing in the store I will sometimes pick up the wrong thing . Like yesterday I went to get conditioner, and was rushing , so surprise, surprise, I am taking a shower, open up the new conditioner and it's shampoo. I have sometimes picked up lite cat food instead of regular cat food, ect.... This happens when I am with my daughter and she is asking a million questions, or I am keeping an eye on her. But it gets me so mad especially when I had to shampoo my hair twice this morning.

Oh gosh yes, I've done this. I was on my cell phone once, and instead of buying toothpaste I bought hemmroid cream. I luckily saw it at the checkout and ran back to get the right thing!! EWWWWW

I do it all the time! I get home with some of the oddest stuff!

Never done anything like that before but theres always a first time for everything!!

the other day i bought wet food for Cable. i was checking out flavors carefully, as i am allergic to fish & didn't want any fishy foods. well, i did fine on flavors - but one of the cans is senior!

Oh ick. At least you didn't brush your teeth with it.

I often forget to pick up whatever I went in there for. That drives me crazy. I walk around the store chanting my list...

You know hemmoroid cream is good to use if you chop alot of hot peppers w/o gloves on. I did that when making salsa a couple of years ago and my hands where really burning. I called Dr and they said I had chemical burn on my hands from the peppers-they couldn't recommend anything but my sis in law said to use hemmeroid cream to ease the burn!! I try to make lists when I go to store but sometimes I see something and I buy it because I think I'm low on it-well I have enough salt for about 20 years!!

It happens to me a lot of times. Sometimes I think the stores will adjust their displays so they're just confusing enough that this happens regularly. It happens too often for it to just be my brain short-circuiting.

Well, i havent done anything like that yet!!

although, my mom has been sending me to get the groceries because i spend less money and get usually only a few things that arent on the list.. it is bound to happen to me anytime now!

I've picked up the wrong item before, but what I do so much more often is to go in the store to get one thing, and come home with a car full of groceries...and realize I forgot to get that one thing I went in there to buy!

That happened to me a couple of weeks ago, I was positive I was buying 4 cans of Chicken Noodle soup. When I got home with my groceries I discovered I had bought 4 cans of Cream of Chicken soup instead. Blechhhhhh!!!!!!!

Sunday, I bought diced green chiles, instead of diced jalapenos. Saturday, I pulled the wrong card out of my wallet and bought the wrong ink cartridges, for my printer. Back to WalMart, next Saturday.

Oh, I have done this before! It's SO annoying.

I haven't done it but Sunday night my friend did it. She got a call from work and was distracted and got decaf tea(and some other stuff but I'm not sure what all was exactly wrong), and ended up spending $200.00 because she was picking up stuff while talking on the phone. talk about being distracted!!! She was so upset! I guess she'll think twice before continuing her shopping while she's on the phone.
