Hi There

Just wanted to introduce myself and my beautiful baby Simon. I have had cats my whole life, but due to some life circumstances I was not able to get one for almost 4 years... and took my time finding the perfect kitty. He was a rescued stray (a declawed one at that) and he is the sweetest most affectionate cat I have had. I feel lucky to have him in my life.... Although I am thinking of *adding another to give him a playmate during the day. Any thoughts on this would be most welcome.

If you can afford the vet bills you and Simon might enjoy having another feline in the house. I have two cats (littermates) who play together and keep each other company when I'm away. They do get jealous of each other, compete for my attention, and fight over toys, but isn't that the case with human siblings, too?
