It's become necessary for me to find a way to supplement my current income. I think a few members here work out of their own homes, and ideally I would like to be able to set my own hours while earning additional income.
Sooooooo, does anyone have any ideas for me to consider?

You can sell things on ebay, If you are into crafting you can sell your crafts, or sell something like avon, mary kay.... There is also baby sitting, pet sitting but they take time and patience. I am sure some will have more ideas. good luck!

Well, I am doing the Cutco Cutlery which I choose my hours. You can also do the parties like Pampered Chef or the candle parties.

So far out in left field I got lost
I have been selling things on ebay from time to time to help us with our income. My concern is the taxes that will be due by April 15th. Of course I could have a loss instead of a gain that would be good. We shall see when all the numbers are crunched.

Hi Lorie!
What do you do the best? What can be an offshoot of something you have a natural talent for? Take a witten inventory of your skills and interests.....see what pops up on paper and then do a little market research, perhaps?

I write resumes. I charge two different fee structures, one for administrative resumes and one for executive search. Having been a recruiter for 6 years during the 90's, I felt I was pretty good at it. I know what employers look for in that initial screening process really well, and it does generate a little extra income when I get a call. It doesn't stress me too much either -- a good rule of thumb!

I took up photography. If you're interested, I can guide you toward the right camera and give you pointers. It's a very profitable business. For instance, on an average wedding my cost is $75 and I profit $300.

PM me if you're interested, I am more than willing to "train" you.

Good luck!

House sitting for rich people? I have a friend who babysat a doctor's huge home and kept the animals while they went on vacation.

What about subbing for a school? Around here they pay either $20 or $25 per day if you are not a college grad and $40-$50 per day if you are.

It's not evey day but more often than you would think.
