I am

This place gets to be such a mess with my work schedule. I'm a nurse, so I leave for work at about 6:00am and don't get home until about 8:00pm. By then I'm too tired to do much of anything. Granted, I only have to work 3-4 days a week.....but when you cram in that many hours.....I usually want to do nothing on my days off.

Thomas and Cooper are helping me too. Cooper is climbing into the dishwasher to direct where everything should go.....and Thomas is trying to get into the trash to make sure I didn't throw away anything important.

Have fun everyone!

I'm not cleaning today 'cause I have to go to work today from 11a-11pm
. I'm a nurse too, and so I bid you all adieu...time to birth some babies! Enjoy your Sunday!

I cleaned yesterday, and spent much of today preparing lessons, as we go back to school tomorrow. I usually try to get my cleaning done on Friday, but have a sore shoulder and decided to give it another day of rest.

My cats help clean, too.

I need to clean but am not in the mood to do anything major.
DO you have a family?

So far out in left field I got lost
Right now my house looks like a bomb went off in there
But until we get through doing sheetrock and painting there isn't much use to clean it from top to bottom right now. So nope not cleaning today just working our tails off.

Movin' on up!
Bill cleaned the kitchen, on Friday. Yesterday, I vacuumed and did all but one load of my laundry. Buddy and Rowdy "helped" me change the bed linens. When I was finished, there were two large lumps, in the middle of the bed. Today, all we've done is grocery shop.

Things usually get let go, during the week. When I get home from work, I unload the dishwasher and load the previous night's dishes. We only need to run it, every other day.

Oh gosh Mary Anne! What a concept!

My problem is that I'll clean for 15 minutes and then take a 30 minute break.
It takes a really long time to get it done this way.

How true is that!
I was cleaning a couple of weeks ago when I stopped to take "a little break".....there I was two hours later still holding the vacuum cleaner nozzle watching a movie on the sofa!

I don't really have any one big day that I reserve for cleaning. I just do a little cleaning here and there after work everyday to try to stay on top of things. Actually, I should be cleaning today too, but this is Sunday after all, so it's going to mostly be a day of rest for me (I hope) before I have to go back to work tomorrow!

Just vacuumed and steam cleaned the carpet in the kitchen (yes, carpet in the kitchen, it will be replaced when we remodel with linolium or something). Oh, and not just any carpet, small diamond pattern indoor/outdoor carpet, hideous!

Now I am starving!

Yeah, I do a 4 long days thing too, so it gets put off until Sunday.

Sometimes I am not sure if I like that schedule, I miss shorter days and 5 days a week cause I could do like Rosiemac and do my house work at the end of the week and enjoythe weekend. Now I work like crazy for 4 days, spend fri resting. Sat escaping, and then Sun dealing with reality again.

No cleaning today, or this week - the flu has knocked me flat. 102 fever for 3 days now, and a cough loud enough to wake the dogs...blech! Somehow I've managed to drag myself over to the computer for a brief TCS fix, though.
You guys can do my place when you're finished, if you want!

6 am to 8 pm!! I would definitely have trouble doing anything on my days off but sleep and watch TV, especially with a physically, mentally, and emotionally strenuous job such as nursing (my mom has her nursing degree and worked "on the floor" for a year and a half -- I never saw her more exhausted).

I work 4 days a week as a teacher/ administrator (I teach part-time and spend the rest of the time doing writing projects and coordinating a self-study project for the school) so I use my "day off" (Mondays) to clean house.
