Hi Everyone

My title basically says it all. I was wondering if anyone may know when the breeding season in New York is for kitties
I know one has recently passed, but is there another in the spring? Is there a website where I could get this info? Thanks everyone.. Meow

I assume that you are asking because you want a particular breed, and you're asking in the breeders section, so....

Breeders don't really have a season, and here's why:

Cats go in and out of season according to the time of year, which includes the amount of sunlight they get, temperatures etc..

In catteries, we can control all the factors that affect a queens "internal clock", such as leaving lights on the same period of time all year, maintaining the same temp all year and so forth.

So, even in New York, or here in CT, regualrs litters are born all through the year, but that depends on the breeder and their breeding plan. Alot of
breeders intentionally don't have litters around the holidays to avoid the "impulse buy" of a kitten as a gift.

I hope that makes sense..
