ReIntroduction - My mushy Munchkin is pleased to meet all of you (again)...

Hi all... since getting wiped out in the database crash, i've decided to re-introduce myself

Please welcome me and my cat, Marsh, to the forum, he's almost a year now.

Marsh, short for Marshmallow is a Munchkin, he's all white, he has wonderful silky hair like an Angora and big plummed tail. Obviously, short legs, and he's a polydactyl to boot! That was just an unexpected bonus. [Polydactyl cats have more than 4 toes on each front leg, they're considered lucky ]

I took a long time researching breeds and especially breeders, before getting a cat, i wanted somebody special, with a wonderful personality. I found the most fantastic breeder in NY, she's one of those great people who dont' do it for the money, but for their cats and the joy they bring others. He was raised in her loving arms before coming home with us.

He's extremely social, he wants to be with us everywhere we go, he loves people, he's the first to greet everybody at the door. He's loving, never ever scratches or bites, quiet, and he loves belly rubs. He loves to play and runs around with his tail high in the air! All around a sweetheard of a cat. And as a bonus, he spends all night sleeping and purring on the pilllow next to me.

Its is nice to meet you and your lovely Cat Marsh .... He is Stunning ... I have an Angora , But he is only 4 months old now .... I yet didn't see an Angora with those yellow eyes they are lovely too , my kitty has Blue eyes , so he is deaf .... Thanks for sharing those sweet pictures of your kitty ..I hope you enjoy this site ..

I know how you feel. Marsh's mon had 4 kittens, three of them where white. Marsh had NO dark spots at all, his sister had two on her head and his other sister had one. I was very afraid he would be deaf. Everything i read said if he has no dark hairs on his head, then he's going to have this disablity. Though i always said that we're taking him no matter what, i fell in love with him in an instant! In any case, we held our breath for the first 8 weeks, and when their blue kitten eyes began to turn, we found out he's got orange eyes, which means that he's OK his sister is odd-eyed, but also ok and his other sister turned out with yellow eyes as well, and is OK.

Welcome back! Marsh is gourgous!! i saw a pic of a munchkin in a cat book once and i thought they were so cute! i love the pic of Marsh in the window looking at the camara, he is just so beutiful! i love his eyes too.
