Okay first question
My 5 (?) year old kitty, Danielle has a thyroid reading of 72 from a normal scale of between 10-50. The Vet put her on Tapozole, twice a day. She has been on it a week. I noticed no side effects until possibly Tuesday, when I noticed she was drinking a lot more than usual, and very cranky. She paces a lot, and meows at me as if trying to tell me something is out of wack or she does not feel well.
Do you know if Tapazole can cause dehydration, or crankyness? I have looked it up , but found not these side effects. She also has not pooped in 48 hours.
We take her back to the Vet tomorrow. But I was just wondering if you knew anything about cats on Tapozole, and can they make cats thirsty.
