Chula is freshly spayed (6 months) & doing great. Our 13 year old neutered male would never consider trying to go outside. He has never touched grass & is completely happy. We only use one (1) door in our house to go in & out of since we have Chula ( it is just my husband & myself ) - still - as she grows older will she lose interest in trying to get outside?? Would be nice to also use the front door.

No, but our house has alot of glass & she can see all the excitement (birds, squirrels, etc. ) out there.

We have a clinic cat (at a vet's office) who kept wanting to go outside, our solution was to put in an outdoor cat run. We built it off of a window to side of the building, so when the weather is nice we just open the window and out she goes. I liked it so much that I will bu building one this spring for my four cats.

In my experience, Jazzy really likes to go outside if there is nobody. If he see people, he won't go outside, he have to wait til he is sure that nobody is seeing him.
