My stray/feral-" kitty" is doing well. Loves to play. I have noticed she bites hard on the string toy end which is taped. Dogs have rawhide or something like that any idea on whats good for a cat. I was thinking of wrapping a lot of electrical tape around a small stick. Just do not want him to hurt his teeth/mouth?

I know it is not the same thing really, but you could get some of that cat grass for him to gnaw on. One of my cats did this too and other then lots of toys, I bought some cat grass and also met her sit on the back patio sometimes to chew on some grass. They really seem to enjoy it.

I have a Wooley Bulley (forgot the spelling) that I got at Petsmart. It's supposed to be good for chewing on, and when it gets ratty you can toss it in the washer to spruce it back up. Baylee will sometimes chew at it... come to think of it, it must be under the couch as I haven't seen it in a while...

I do give him a spider plant, But your idea is good. I think he's so used to chomping on chipmunks etc to survive he has that tough chewing need

Just wanted to add that I have those... and a different brand of the same kind of product. My kitten won't eat them, she'll just play with them!
