Sam, it's a flash animation of the date, day and actual time. Each time you move the mouse, the letters swirl around and then go back to being a clock. The outline of the clock today is SATURDAY, JANUARY 8, 2005. And in the middle are two hands ticking away.
I love that, it is groovy!! It might get a bit annoying, though, if you had it on your desktop!!
I have seen that before but it really is amazing!!!
