The Sims anyone?

My friend gave me The Sims Deluxe Edition (it was a late Xmas present)...I started playing it yesterday....and now I am hooked!!! ...as if I needed to be stuck on the computer for longer but its so much fun!!!
I have created my families, given them jobs and started running their lives

Just wondering who else out there is into The Sims? And what version do you have? or additons? ...any good ones???
I know I can go to The Sims Online and download stuff for my families and neighbourhood....but I haven't been there yet....hmm wonder what else I can get there???

I have heard of The Sims but never played it myself - sounds like fun Sonja
so should we be prepared to not see much of you in the next few days

Oh, I'm glad I'm not the only one thats hooked ...it's just too addictive and fun this game....

I think I'm going to have to space out my time on it....like say an hour or two a day, cos I ended up playing it all day yesterday... and I need to do other things...like checking the threads on TCS!!!

I bought the Sims game, but I can't understand it. I can't figure it out at all. I know I'd love it, if I could figure it out.

The Sims is one of my favorite games. I have the expansions and Sims 2. I have not been playing it lately though.
I'm hooked on another online game so I'm not interested with the Sims one.

I thought of you Beth, when I read this title!

I used to have the game when it first came out - used to play it on my laptop during classes in high school. Lol.

I really would love the online version or The Sims 2 but if I start taking classes on top of working, they'll be no time. Shame though.

We love the SIMS at our house. I originally bought it for my daughter, but while trying to help her figure out how to play, I found that I liked it too. We got the SIMS 2 shortly before Christmas and are learning that one now.

hahaha, i have heard how much fun this game is. I never bought it because I knew I'd get addicted and never turn off the computer.

We're SIMS people here, too. Haven't been playing it much lately. I guess we kind of go in cycles. Have you got UNLEASHED, so you can adopt a kitty-cat? Also, do you know the cheat that gets you unlimited funds? Let me know if you don't and if you want it!

I got The Sims when it first came out (about two months later) I think that was like 99, maybe 98. I got each expansion within a couple months of each coming out, and I love them all... I got The Sims Online a little while after it came out, and that is pretty fun too. It's neat interacting with other people who also play the same game, online.

I got Sims 2 this last, um, Ocotober I think it was. WOW!!! You think The Sims is good............ Sims 2 completely blows sims way out of the water, expansion packs or not. I'm a sim nut. Have been since I played simcity in 93.

I know of a lot of great free sites that you can download stuff from.

Good to see that we're all representing our SIMS addiction. Thought I'd come forward too. I have the original SIMS all the expansion pack, the SIMS On-line but never really took to it and then got the SIMS2 when it came out. I love it and yes unleashed was a great expansion nothing like having kitties and puppies running around. Although I'd say that you definately need to download the no stray pets sign, I think I got it at the offical site, it keeps the strays away. (They pp all over the place and eat up all your pets food if you put it out.)

Oh no you guys... you're making me want to get Sims 2! Does that one come with the pets, cuz I think that'd be fun!

Sigh... if only money grew on trees...

Nope it doesn't come with pets, I keep on hoping for an expansion though that would be great.

Rats. Well, I still want Sims 2. Maybe by the time I can actually afford to buy a game, they'll come out with Sims 3 and it'll have the pets in it!
