...if there still are any such people
Here are a few from "Lotus Land" where some folks get pretty giddy when they see snow, cuz it happens so seldom, and others swear a lot, cuz they wish it wouldn't at all (guilty as charged!) However, it is worthy of a little camera attention, even if it is a pain the patoot. So, herewith a few...

From my office window...

from the north entrance...

this one is a particular tree, that is a special favourite of a colleague, for whom I promised to get a solo shot of this, and give him a copy...

from the south entrance...

I also took a few from the back porch when I got home, but the light was different, and I didn't like them much. Maybe another day, before the stuff goes away.

Never mind. I just looked in my atlas. You're ON the Pacific Ocean!
Didn't they film a lot of the X-Files episodes in Vancouver?

Got that one!! The beach is 5 minutes walk from those pics.

So I believe. It wasn't a show I watched, but a guy I knew at the time was an extra in one episode.

Fran! Can I just quit my job and work there instead?? Your Office!?! How breathtaking.
You have much more snow than we do down here. Yeah! Give TCS a photo of from the West End by UBC, looking out at the water with all the whitecaps (in the Springtime, my favorite!)

Absolutely beautiful!!!!!!
I don't like snow either but I do think trees look sooooo pretty when their branches are covered with snow, expecially on a bright sunny day!

Thanks for sharing!

Ok, there are a few ocean(ish) ones that aren't bad. I don't have a Springtime one for you, Elizabeth, but I'll make a point of doing that at the appropriate time. I need some of English Bay from that perspective

I do have a late winter Spanish Banks shot...

one of my favourite shots, taken from the ferry to Vancouver Island, in Active Pass...

and one of Cadboro Bay (Victoria) taken from Rob's mum's lawn...

Enjoy!

I love snow even when it's 40 below F. There's nothing like a good dump of fluffy snow to hide all the garbage, especiall when you live in the city.
Hoarfrost is always a special treat too. Nice photos.

Stunning! Loved the 'tree' and the 'bay' shot. What a beautiful place to live.

Glad you're enjoying them. Here are a few more that I took this morning...

The back yard. I've posted late spring shots of the south fence previously. I think it was Elizabeth who asked about the lilac. Here are a couple of that area, from a slightly different angle, including the forsythia in the corner. (The lilac is leaning more and more
)

These ones aren't what I think of when I think of "snow pics", but I found it interesting how the snow had begun to slide off the roof, down the awning, and stopped...
