Ohhhh, you need to try shrimp!!! It's so plentiful here. Our diet is mostly seafood........all kinds. Shrimp, crawfish, fish, oysters, clams, crabs, shark, calamari........you name it! The down side to our diet is that we fry food ofen or make gumbos which are eaten with rice. LOTS of carbs!!!!

I miss oyster po-boys, and most of all, I miss crawfish and the excellent catfish I could get when I lived in your state many years ago

Is anybody else getting hungry? I love:
lasagna
creamed or fresh spinach
crabmeat/shrimp/lobster/clams/fried oysters
egg salad
tomato soup

My husband is allergic to all crustaceans, so I buy crab/lobster/shrimp for Jamie and me every once in a while. He (the cat, not hubby) also shares my passion for egg salad and creamed spinach.

Seafood of any kind, but especially shrimp
Fresh local strawberries in season
Roast Beef dinner, with all the trimmings, the way my Dad used to make it.

I'm starving now, just thinking about my favourite foods are making my mouth water. Let me see if I can narrow it down to my top 5...hmmmm....


1. Lasagna
2. Poutine
3. Cheese
4. Pasta w/sour cream 'n' chives sauce
5. Chicken

I can't wait till 5:00 so I can do home and cook dinner
...my stomach is growling as I'm typing..lol.

1)Toasted or grilled corn muffin with butter and strawberry jam
2) Chilean Sea Bass, Broiled lightly with plenty of butter and lemon
3) Ultra thick breaded porkchops with fresh chunky applesauce on the side
4) Pasta any kind anywhere
5) Creme Brulee or Flan, with lots of caramel sauce
