My best friend's mom's cat crossed the bridge yesterday. Pinky was 21 years old. For the past couple of years he has really been an old man: blind, deaf, etc.

Here's to you, Boo-Kitty. You made a lot of people happy.

Pinky had a very long and happy life. Sounds like a lot of people really loved him. He's going to be a busy kitty at the Bridge watching over everyone he loved in life.

I'm sorry for your friends' loss, though, moreso for you, it sounds like you are heartbroken as well. Give my condolences to your friend and be strong for her, if you can. I'll pray for you all.

It must be just devastating for your friend's Mom to suddenly not have her long time friend at her side. Pinky had such a full life and is loved so dearly. I pray for peace and strength for those struggling with this loss.

My friend, Judy, is having a tough time with this, although we could all see it coming for a long time. She does have 2 younger cats, Blue and Molly. She has said that Blue's demeanor has changed around the house. It's amazing how animals grieve, too.

Deb, we are so very sorry. He sounds like he was a wonderful little guy. No doubt, his regal and mature spirit will be with her in ways she will see.
Namaste.
Peace be with her in this time of loss.
Love,
Elizabeth
