a calender question

I was just wondering how birthdays work....i never even noticed the calender option until now....but i noticed that a lot more people have there birthdays today then are listed.........I was just wondering why that was.....
I figure it is because some of those members havent been on here in a long time....but i figured I would ask the experts...lol...always wanna keep you guys on your toes...lol

You are exactly right Bridget.
The Calendar shows the birthdays for everyone who is a member here, but the Birthdays part at the bottom shows the members who have posted in the past 6 months, I think. Deb can answer about the exact time-frame.

You have to have been active within the past 60 days to have your birthday show up on the main forum page.

Bridget, I might be confusing you, too, about the birthdays, because I always check them out, and often post a birthday greeting. I live in Central European Time, which is six hours ahead of EST. If I happen to be online after midnight, I see whose birthday it is hours before anybody in North American does.

lol....actually it did confuse me at first, but then i figured it out....lol......thanx for the heads up though
