I just wanted to show off the sandals that I decorated for my mom who is in the Red Hat Society... I sent mom the pictures and she's already asking for some in other colors to go with different outfits and some of the other red hatters want some as well.... I'm going to be busy.

Each sandal took about 3 hours... and a little bit of blood.

I bought the flip flops at the Hobby Lobby (shock to find them in December ha ha) and I put little flowers and beads on them. The pics are a little blurry so the detail isn't the best... but trust me, they are cute. I might make myself a pair too!

Or you could just PM when you're gonna mail the completed product to us.

Just kidding! Besides, my feet don't do well in flip flops... I get blisters which aren't attractive.

LOL! Thanks Beryl. Good luck making your pair! I hope the directions are clear enough.... its one thing to just make them... but trying to put how into words is difficult!!! I'd love to see them when you make them!

Very cute!!

We call flip flops, thongs, in Australia (which i'm sure if you are American you might think we are wierd!! We call thongs a g-string).

They have just made a huge resurgence in Australia and you can now get designer thongs. We used to buy them from Wollies for about $1 when i was a kid - now you can get charged up to $30 for the same thing!!
