That's a really cute photo! Can you share your trick for the red eye? I put my little digital on red eye reduction and it still doesn't help.

I know you will miss them Gaye, but you gave them a good start in life, allowed them to know what love truly is and they will be well-socialized and happy kittens and grow up into gorgeous cats- just like their parents!

If you have one of those digital cameras with a stationary flash like I do, then you take a small piece of tissue paper, cut it to fit over the flash area and then tape it so it stays. Don't tape over the area covered by tissue, just tape the edges. This effectively diffuses the light from the flash so it doesn't bounce so hard off the retina and create the red eye look.

If you have a flash unit that you can move, point it slightly upward to achieve the same effect.

Also, it helps a LOT to have them look just slightly away from the camera instead of directly at it when emplying neither of these methods.

Hope this helps,

~gf~

Thanks for the tips... I'd heard of moving the flash upwards but since my camera doesn't do that, I'll definitely have to try the tissue paper trick!

Loving my beautiful baby girl
Your three sweet little girls are so gorgeous, Gaye! I know it will be so difficult for you to depart with them, still you will know that you gave them the very best start!
Thank you for the great photography tips!
