Happy New Year from Nova Scotia!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!


We are now about 20 minutes in to 2005 here. The poor cats... I called them up about a minute before the countdown (or rather, I shook the treat bag!) so they'd be with me when the clock struck midnight. After having a couple of treats the clock struck 12 and I gave them all a kiss
then the fireworks started. Poor Chester was beside himself; he paced around my room the entire time. I'd go over to him to try and comfort him and he'd move. Ariel sat on the corner of my bed, eyes wide and Piper paced a bit too, although not as bad as Chester. Poor kitties. We were all glad when it finally ended. I gave them a couple more treats (the spoiled little buggers!) then let them out of my room. (I wanted to be with them as the new year came so keeping them in my room was the best thing, otherwise I'd be chasing them all around the house!)

I'm glad 2004 is gone... I only hope that 2005 is better; it has to be!

I live a few miles from Disneyland so we get fireworks every night. The cats don't even pay attention to them anymore. Happy New Year, we have three hours to go here. Becky

I take it you've been here before. I'd have to agree with you although I am a bit biased! lol
I'm glad you enjoyed your time here, it's always nice to hear about how much people enjoy coming here. It really is a beautiful spot.

I'm thinking of joining in on the vacation thread, so I can show everyone around... I just have to figure out where to take everyone!

I would love it if you did. I was on a sheep farm with my Dad outside Halifax a long time ago. He travels for fun and likes to stay at offbeat places. OH! And Sasha's vet, Dr. Beaudreaux is from Nova Scotia!

That's pretty cool that your vet is from here!
I wish I could travel like your dad... I'd love to travel around to different places. Maybe sometime down the road, when I win the lottery! lol
