I have been thinking about getting one of those self cleaning litter boxes. Does anyone own one on here? And what do you think of it? I know they are expensive like $200.00 here. Are they worth it? Does it work really well??

THANKS GUYS!!!

I got one back in September. It works well at first, but after a couple of months, it's just a pain in the *you know where*. I actually cleaned it more than I would a normal litterbox. It's too big of a hassle for $200.00.

Right now we use a Booda Dome. FABULOUS litterbox! It's round and deep enough for the cats who dig for gold all the time.

You're very welcome! If I could save someone from spending $200 on something that works for only a few weeks, then yay!

Another good thing to use is The World's Best Cat Litter. I've been using it for almost two weeks and it works great! You can flush it down the toilet, it clumps really well, it's safe for the cats (even if they try to eat it) and so far the odor control has worked well too. In my opinion, it lasts longer than your traditional clay litter. Although it's more expensive than your "store brand" litter, it will end up saving you money as you would only need to get 1 bag every other month (or 1 bag per month for multiple cats) rather than a bag of clay litter every other week.
