Wow. Tomorrow is New Year's eve already! This year really went by fast. It was a good year for the most part (except for the last few weeks).

So who will be making resolutions this year and what will they be?

I want to say mine will be to start losing weight again, but I need the resolve to make that resolution!!

I hope 2005 is a good one for you all and your precious furbabies!!

I make the same resolution every year: Not to make any New Year's Resolutions. You can't break what you don't make

I've lost 13lbs so i'm gonna make my resolution to lose the last 10lbs I wanted to and what better way to do than by going vegan? It's going to be a very healthy 2005 for me

I actually made a list that looks something like this:

*Go vegan
*Lose 10lbs
*Read more books on ethics
*Give blood
*Work harder at my studies
*Go outside more
*Get rid of useless clutter in my home

My resolution is to realize the only person who can hurt me is myself. When I look back at the upseting times I've had this year, I realize that it's my responses that have hurt me. So, I resolve to step back from emotionally upsetting events and look at them in a way that won't lead to hurt.

And I resolve to spoil Ivo as much as possible.

i don't really make resolutions. I am more of a goal setter and i set various goals throughout the year. However, I do want to get back into making excercise a routine thing in my life. Last winter I was spending 4-5 days at the gym workiing out pretty hard and I don't do that anymore. I did start going back to the gym last week and I want that to continue and increase as the year progresses.

I"m making the same resolution I've made the past 5 yrs. This is the year I'm taking care of ME! This means, if it is something I don't want to do, I don't do it. So if I have an evening of watching a rerun and eating a gallon of icecream, and you call cause you and hubby decided last minute you want to go to dinner and you need a babysitter...sorry. My rerun comes first. You should have thought of dinner a few days ago and called to see if I'm free.

A number of years ago, I used to drop everything and go running when my friends/family needed something. Then I realized they were taking advantage of me. So I spread the word...if you call last minute, don't be surprized if I say no.
My time is just as important as yours.

That is the best resolution I've seen so far. Only if you take care of yourself can you help others. It's great that you are able to say no and not allow people to take advantage of you. All the best in this new year.

I don't really make resolutions - I just try to live each day to the very best of my ability, to be kind, caring and considerate to everyone. I am going to try to quit smoking by midnight tonight but that is more a health issue than a resolution.

I wish each and every one of you and your fur babies a wonderful, happy and prosperous New Year.
