Our three "indoor" cats spend a lot of time in our bedroom, and they LOVE to sit in the window, but, in doing so, they always manage to bend the shutters of the metal blinds that we have, even when I put the blinds half-way up. Is there any blind/window covering that the cats would not be able to damage ?

If you come up with an answer please share it with us. Here is a photo of what we found one morning after Samwise climbed the blinds.

Good luck,

Mine are the same way - the best suggestion I've been given so far is to try vertical blinds - they hang free so that the cats can peek all they want without damaging the blinds. We have vertical blinds over our glass door in the back, and they've remained undamaged.

Since vertical blinds are expensive, though, in my apartment I just pulled up the blinds all the way so the cats couldn't tear them up (tying up the cords & tucking them out of the way for safety), and hung up cheap curtains.
