Angel...CRF can't keep her down! (I hope!)

I'm not sure the exact age of Angel, to be honest. When I got her in 1995, she was apporximately 3-years old. So I just made up a birth date for her...5/1/92! So that makes her 12, going on 13 years old.

As for the calendar...that's actually my intent. I've take sooo many pictures of her with my digital and film camera's over the last 1-2 months. I know that CRF will eventually take her...

Angel is just beautiful. When she does eventually succumb to CRF you will know that you took the best possible care of her - she looks so happy despite her illness. Beautiful Angel

CRF is Chronic Renal Failure...kidney disease. She was diagnosed with it this past December. From all the reading I've done, it's actually pretty common in cats. Since it's chronic, there's no cure...so eventually, my Angel will succumb to it. So it's my job to make sure she's happy and comfortable while she's still here!!!

She's pretty happy right now! She's doing real well...but she has her ups and downs. She'll be GREAT for a few days...then she'll get real lethargic for a few days. It's a rollercoaster. But overall I think she's doing very well.

She's scheduled to have some more bloodwork done tomorrow actually...so we'll see if she's gotten worse/better/same. Think good thoughts! *crossing fingers*

Old girl, sick and all, can still get herself up on the window sill to survey her domain!

It's been a while! Angel's still doing pretty good...CRF is holding stable/steady. She's a happy cat!

I can tell that she is very well taken care of and LOVED by you!!!! I know how difficult it is with CRF (I lost one of my cats to CRF a couple years ago). I am SOOO glad to hear that SUB Q treatments are helping! Those helped Sunniday (RB) for a while.
