My Zeus is a very difficult eater and only likes very moist canned food. He was on felidae for a while, and then they changed the formula and made it less moist, he also liked active life chicken and fish(I think it was) and then the company stopped making it. He is now eating petguard but seems to be bored of it. I also have tried california natural, innova wysong and wellness. Are there any more premium canned food out there? thanks Cat.

This sounds like a really good food, but is not sold in Louisiana, I checked, and do not own a c.c. to buy on line. I am moving this summer and will keep this food in mind because it looks really good. thanks alot squirtle. Cat.

I'd also say Solid Gold. I've bought something called "Prairie" which is quite wet, too. If a food isn't wet enough, you can always add a few teaspoons of warm water to it (I do that with the Innova and California Natural).

I've had the same problem with my cats. They like(d) California Natural Deep Water Fish but either they changed the formula or I got a bad lot number (which, unfortunately, all the stores around town carry right now) because the last couple of cans were gray and mushy and smelled a little spoiled to me. Molly wouldn't eat it.

So now, I'm on the hunt for another premium grade wet food they like. Sometimes it's not just brand but flavor. Anyway, I got a Prairie brand food which was pretty moist but they didn't like it. I'm going to try Solid Gold later tonight.

Sigh. They're so finicky!

I don't recall all the ingredients in this line, butPrecise has a good name, and they have some of their foods listed as with broth, so they are very juicy!
PetGuard, fwiw, just came out with a new flavor, their organic chicken and vegetables..haven't opened one of the cans yet, so not sure how juicy it is.

PetGold, petco's own brand, have some fish based foods that are really neat..calamari and shrimp, lobster, fish and shrimp and there is little added - no fillers and grains etc. Very simply, straight-forward canned food formulas, and juicy

If using wet food just as complement or if you can supplement this, the Wysong all-meat canned foods are juicy as I recall, but as I mentioned, they are not nutritionally complete and would need supplementation.

Merrick as Tanya pointed out is another great option.
