Is Jerry going with you? I'm sure holding his hand will help. Just don't cut off his circulation.

Lots of good vibes and we'll be telepathically holding your hand on the 6th.

awww...definitely sending you some good vibes.

I had this surgery..I guess nearly 2 years ago and I can honestly say the day was a turning point in my life. I was having such terrible terrible abdominal pain-at some times of the month I could not function, and there was never a time when it didn't hurt. I have a history with cysts , and I have never been "regular" in my "womanly" life so I really didn't think too much about it, but after awhile I broke down in the obgyns office and she suggested this procedure. The day of the surgery, I begged them to put me out because I was in pain at the time, and I woke up virtually pain free and heard them say "endometriosis". She was able to diagnose and remove most of my spots, and the only pain I had associated with the surgery was a little itty bitty soreness in my belly button and the gas in my joints (but the gas was nothing a good massage from my then bf, now hubby, couldn't take care of!).
After the surgery I went on this drug for 6 weeks...why cant I remember the name of it...crap, sorry...anyway, I had to get a shot once a week and it put me in some kind of psuedo menopause...that was kinda crappy, but I have not had problems with endometriosis since, and I kick myself for living with the pain as long as I did

Sorry so long, just thought it might help to hear a positive experience

Thanks for sharing your experience Sharon..........I'm hoping for something like this! I could do without the shots for 6 weeks though, but if it'll take away the pain, then ok! I'll let you all know what happens, and once again, thanks everyone for the support. It truly does help!

Susie, just the biggest and best wishes and prayers that all will go smoothly and they find absolutely nothing! Stay strong, think POSITIVE thoughts and do not let them go.
Ever.

Well Elizabeth, I thank you very much for your prayers, but I truly hope they do find something. That's the whole reason I'm having this done. I want to find the reason for my pain and see if it can be fixed.
I will hold on to all your good wishes......everyones....thanks guys! One week from today.....

Susie, oh I do know that.... I am so sorry....leave it to me to be somewhat clumsy!
I know it would ease your mind. I do know. But really, I was hoping to say that in finding "nothing" that it was perhaps stress or something that was manageable in a different way.....but being the clumsy person I am with words at times, I didn't want to offend you by saying stress because then it just sounds like you are all stressed out and that would sound negative, which I didn't want. Am I making any sense at all? Goodness!
Here is a big huge hug.

Oh Susie. I understand why you're afraid. I freak out because of a simple blood test!
Its okay to feel that way. Just remember we are here for you, and we always will be. We will support you when you need support, and always care for you. I'm sure G-d is looking out for you, and everthing will be okay. Don't feel silly for bringing a stuffed kitty.

BIG BIG
to you.

Keep us posted, and PM me whenever you feel the need to talk.
