Jeff drove 10 hours from VA to spend the weekend here, and he built a raised bed for me so that I could have an herb garden.
It was his gift to me because I had had a rough 6 months: temporary ileostomy and then the reversal. I lost to 69 lbs and was in the hospital a total of 25 days, plus I had to miss 20 weeks of work.

I was absolutely ecstatic when Sierra's test results returned that her BUN and Creatinine had fallen back within normal limits!!!

The exciting adoption my sweet baby, Caeser.
I met him at a Bow Wow Meow festival. I knew my family was getting a dog soon, but I had no idea it was going to be that day. I wanted a female Golden Mix, I got a huge male Shepard mix. But what a sweetie! I knew he was The One.
He payed attention to no one, looking so sad with a homeless sign on him. I came over and gave him a hug, then walked away to tell my mom about him. He pulled on his leash and whined for me to come back to him.
Get this-nobody wanted him because of a wound on his ear, from a time when another dog attacked him. Its gone now.
Now he's home with us, on his way to finishing puppy preschool.

Well... there are 2 things that were good that happened to me this year...
First of all... Getting engaged!

and then... the end of may, i found out that my Orie was born! Yes, that was soo exciting.. i had to wait until August to get her.. but it was so much worth the wait.. and i love her soo much
although my bad is much heavier than my good this year.. at least i have those 2 things to keep my smiling
