55yr old women gives birth to triplets

A 55 year old woman has given birth to her grandchildren.....she carried triplets for her daughter and son in law, who were struggling with infertility. I know this should probably go in the IMO area....can somebody move it there (I don't think I can post there yet).

What does everyone think of this?

I think its out of this world. I know my mother would do it in a heart beat
if I needed it. I also think its a wonderful gift to be able to help like that.

I guess I really don't 'get' things like this. But to each their own, good for them, I guess, if they are happy.

This really got my attention when I heard/saw it on the news.More power to her. I feel that as a mature female she may offer other skills not always associated with very young mothers, IMO.

No. She was a surrogate mother, they 'borrowed' her uterus. The sperm and egg came from her son-in-law and daughter.
