Wow! That's a shocker. I didn't even know he was sick.
That is such a shame, no one should die from prostate cancer.
I was very sad to hear this on the news this morning...he was to be on the newest spin-off of Law & Order and I was looking forward to seeing him on this new show

I was a huge Law and Order fan and my litter sister loved Dirty Dancing (he was Baby's dad). He was a great actor and an amazing dancer. I'm very sorry for his family's loss.
wow.......I had no clue that he was sick. He was a very good actor and I enjoyed him on the show too.
A lot of people do not realize what a great Broadway song and dance man he was. He was in the ORIGINAL cast of 42 Street (not the revival now) and he sang The Lullaby of Broadway. "Come on along and sing the song , the lullaby of broadway..." Now of course I can't get the song out of my head...he will be missed!
I had no idea - I've always just conected him with "Law & Order". I read a couple of weeks ago that he had prostate cancer, but the tone of the article was that he was doing fine and looking forward to the new series. How sad.
He was my favorite character on Law and Order. I am sad to hear he died. I knew he was on Broadway, but I didn't know how good he was.
It's a sad day for the Law & Order fans!!

Now that's sad. I loved his character on Law and Order. I'm going to miss him. He's a good actor.
