CoCo recently got a new little 4 months sister Ginger.

Anyhow this is their 3rd day together (Ginger was isolated from him for 10 days - recommended from the Humane Society)

Coco usually runs after her, and if she stops he paws at her, and then she will run away.

If CoCo is playing with something and she hears it, she will coming running after him.

I guess my question is, the odd time coco pins her down and it looks as tho they are wrestling, and once in a while i'll hear ginger growling.....is he hurting her?

Could growling be a sign of playing or no?

They sleep beside each other sometimes, and on occasion through the nighht I hear them chasing each other, or I'll hear the occassional growl from Ginger....?

I just want to know if this is normal and is what i should be expecting

It scares me whenever it happens here. I figure as long as they aren't hissing at each other it's probably okay. I call it "Kill time" and let it be. Okay, do admit, I break them up at times...but they go right back to it

First am assuming that both kitties are fixed. The game they are playing is "Who's the Boss" As soon as they have it figured out they will stop growling at each other.

Fighting includes LOUD yowling, hissing, flying fur, extended claws, even bleeding.
