Yeah on Sunday and it was great. I got a new pair of pajamas at the Disney store for 40% off. They're really warm and I've had my eye on them for months.

Hubby got me some new jammies from the Disney store for Christmas - I'd been dropping hints for a while LOL!! They're lovely and snuggly.

We went into our little town today walked down the main street and stopped for a drink. When we emerged into the daylight to walk back up the main street (this was at lunch time) all the traffic lights had stopped working and all the shops were closed. Seems we'd had a power cut. So we came back home.

We went to Wal Mart and cashed in on some of the Christmas stuff that was on sale.
Earl wanted to add a piece to his Village, and we really needed a new tree skirt and we got both 50% off! (The kitties decided that the old tree skirt was theirs years ago, they like the velvet, so it has become a permanent kitty throw. But when I looked at it this year I noticed it really was in bad shape, and the kitties were REALLY unhappy when it was moved to under the tree...)

Lane Bryant is having a huge sale- 80% off on most of their stock. i hope they aren't going out of business! It's the only place I can go to get pants that don't hit me in the calves!

I haven't hit any of the stores yet (I have a cold), but I've been taking advantage of the "after-Christmas sales" online. I've been wanting a "boss-style" desk chair in leather for quite a while, and found the perfect one yesterday, 50% off. I also ordered some stuff from Land's End that was really marked down - a fleece top, tankini, and a pair of winter "all-weather" shoes, which had better fit!

We went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and I got a 5 qt stock pot with glass lid - Cephalon Tri-Ply Stainless at about 50% off online retail prices, plus a 3 qt. saucier with glass lid - also Cephalon Tri-Ply Stainless. Gorgeous pieces, not as nice as the all-clad we are working on getting, but quite nice.

It meant I could take my old Revere Ware to the Salvation Army today

I have to get to Old Navy this week, as I was given a gift card for Xmas and it could be worth 10x its face value (a promotion they were running during the holiday season). But you have to go into the store before December 31st. Pretty slick marketing, huh?
