I never make resolutions... easier to keep them if they don't exist...

However I think I have a few:

-Not to let my co-workers' attitude/behavior/tardiness bother me... I just need to do my job and focus on hopefully getting a new one.

-Let my kitten have her own personality. I tend to pick her up when she doesn't want to be held and feel unloved when she doesn't spend time with me... but I know she loves me and so I want to respect her independence and love her for it.

-Be a good girlfriend... try not to find the faults in my bf and instead love him for all the good he is, how he takes care of me, etc.

-Try to cook more... I'm so lazy and fast food is NOT healthy for me!

Good luck coming up with some!

I don't do resolutions..but I have a yearly theme. This year the theme is "movement"...because I have been known in the past to simply stay with the status quo...so this year I plan to do things to "move" in a direction (whether it be to possibly buy a place, get a promotion or even a new job).

The only one I have is to lose a bit of weight and just try to be healthier in general

That's an interesting concept, Katie--a yearly theme. I like it!

I have a few.. to eat healthier, excerise more (or at all!), be more caring towards my boyfriend, get my course completed and volunteer in some way. I would like to start a organization for the ferals near me. If not that, I would like to atleast trap one and get it checked out and neutered.

I like your idea too, Katie. Very clever.

My resolution is to try not to obsess, and to also figure out what to do about these nightmares about mama. (She was very controlling, and I have nightmares that she is alive again, and my life is over.)

I kept the two resolutions I made last year which were to quit smoking and to start taking better care of my health in general.

Sooooo, I will continue striving for good results in these areas instead of making brand new resolutions for this year.

Before we had our son, we found we were eating take out nearly every night. Once we cut that down to once a week, we found we saved a fortune money wise ..... also was a lot healthier.... you guys could I am sure use the money towards the future.... just a thought if your break it down to how much you spend. Take for instance, a take away for the pair of us here costs say £15 for one night- over four nights, thats £60.00 - thats two nights in a bed and breakfast in the Dales. Time to relax and be away and yet, enjoy each other's company.
Wish we could do it now as children always cost a fortune

I don't do resolutions either. That way it's easier not to break them. But I guess I can identify with the "movement" thing - I'll be having a fresh start in my life come july and I can't wait!! I intend to make the very best of it that I can

I too am doing a general "theme" for the year. I get so busy with the little things in life that they distract me from taking care of the important stuff. So this year is a matter of setting priorities. Take care of myself first, so that I have the energy to take care of the ones that I love best.

I would like to quit smoking.. so 2005 will be the year for the struggle, but when it is done I will be done too. I don't want to wait til I get pregnant and have to quit because that would be too hard and dangerous too.. So yes, I need to quit this year and stick to it.

And I would also like to futher develop some career skills that I have not made time for in 2004 since I'm working out of my field.. I really want to get back to doing what I enjoy.

And I would like a house.. or to save up more for a bigger downpayment.. Or to convince a relative to give me theirs hehe.

And to stop eating fast food for lunch

I always have several...

This year's are:

1. Stop eating fast food, I need to loose some weight so this is the quickest way to cut down on my fat intake...and the saving of money doesn't hurt either. (I'm lazy too.
)

2. Get out and meet new people. I seem to be stuck in a rut so we'll see how this goes.

3. Spend more time taking care of myself, this one should be easy as I have more time now that I'm out of school. I keep getting colds and such and I know it's because I don't allow myself any downtime.

4. And the forth and final, to start paying down debt. Darn school loans are going to cut into my "mad" money quite a bit when they start coming due.

I kind of re set my resolutioins once a month depending on where i am at - sadly hopeles at reaching goals!

This year i want to -

Loose weight
Have more fun (I tend to take life a little to seriously)
Take a holiday
Be more compassionate with the people around me and appreciate everyone more. I am incredibly lucky to have the friends and family i do.

There all pretty easy so hopefully i will stick to them all. Actually the wieghtloss thing could be difficult with my addiction to eating lots and my allergy to any form of exercise!!
