Do you have lots of dreams at night? Or are dreams rare for you?

Coffee or tea?

Do you have a nickname for your bike?

Congratulations!

Yay Sarah... um... I have to come up with questions for you, and I rarely ask people questions in here! Just for you hun, cuz you're so great!

Did you go to university? If so, where and what was your major?

What are your goals for 2005?

What would you LOVE to do with your life (dream job, write a book, volunteer, etc)?

Hey! Thanks You guys!
Ok...let's see...

1. I am very close to my family, and miss them very much now that I am so far away! My Mom and Dad have been married 35 years, and I have one brother, Larry, who is finishing his Master's and applying for his Phd. right now. He is by far the smartest person I know! My father was dis-owned by his family when he married my Mom, so I do not know that side of the famly much at all, and my Mom's parents died when I was young, so I never realy knew my grandparents.
2. I LOVE being a new Mommy! I cannot believe it took me this long to get a cat(s) My Boys are just so sweet and they bring so much joy to me every day!

3. My hubby was enlisted in the AF and was stationed out at Travis AFB in Vacaville. We met when he seperated to do ROTC to get his commission and went to Sacramento State College where I was also attending. We had a 12:00 Accounting class and a 1:30 Econ class - I guess it was fate!

4. Hmmm...when I was young I collected Breyer horses...now a-days I am not too big into collecting anything in particular. It is hard with all the moving around I have ahead of me. I WANT to start a tea-cup collection, so throughout my travels I will get a tea-cup from everywhere I have been. I also love candles and antique furniture.
5. My first job was at Burger King!

Thanks Mrsd!

What is your favorite sweet? My favorite sweet - that is SOOO hard as I have a raging sweet tooth! I cannot keep sweets in the house or else I lose all control. I love pumpkin rolls, hot tamale candies, Dark chocolate, Vanilla Bean ice cream...oh! and I love Baklava (I don't know how to spell it!)

Do you have lots of dreams at night? Or are dreams rare for you? I often have dreams, and I remember them right when I get up, but as the day goes on they are hard to remeber! I actually do not recall having a dream last night, I think I was too tired from the day!

Coffee or tea? TEA!!!

Do you have a nickname for your bike? HAHA!!! That is SO funny you asked! Actually, I do. It is "babybike" and she is a girl. I don't know why, and it is probably best not to analyze that one too much! I love my bike
She's a pearl white over blue Cannodale R800...*sigh* Did I mention that I love my bike?

Thank you, Fwan! This is fun!

1. Do you have kids? Nope, no kids. Hubby and I have made the decsion not to have them. (I get a lot of grief for that!)

2. Do you have any other pets? Just our two boys. Back at my parents we had a menagerie, but base housing only allows for 2 domestic animals. So...Riley and Amad are it.

3. Are you planning to get more pets?? I would love to! When Bri retires we plan on having MANY animals...he wants a lot of dogs, I cannot imagine not having a cat or two, and we want some land so I can have a horse (or two!My goal is to acquire the through a rescue organization) and various other critters.

4. what did you eat on xmas? Bri and I went over to his Commander's house for Christmas...we had Ham, Turkey, Mac and Cheese (yum yum!) and LOTS of dessert. Ugh. I over did myself last night!

5. How many pressies did you get? It was a fairly low-key Christmas for us this year, but I have been so blessed this year, and the holidays have never been about the presents for me. That being said, Bri got me a new pair of Sidi cycling shoes
and of course my boys and their tree was part of Christmas, too!

Awww! Thank you Ariana!

Yes...I went to CSUS (California State University, Sacramento) and got a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Strategic Mngmt. I am currently working on my Master's from the University of Oklahoma (sooners) in International Relations.

Oh...that's a deep one! My goals for this year...
I want to complete my Masters, take photography lessons, volunteer at a shelter, ride my a$$ off, get a job, spend time with my family, work on my culinary skills
, pay off our bills, work on getting my cycling body back - this first year of marriage has been brutal! travel...hmm...that should keep me busy!

What would I love to do with my life? I have a few directions I could go with on this one. I have always wanted to have a lot of land someday, where I could take in abused and neglected animals (farm animals, dogs, cats...anything that needed help) I would love to be in the position to buy my parents a nice house and take care of them so they never had to worry about the future. I wish I could be a professional cyclist - getting paid to ride my bike?? I am all over that! Ultimately, I want to do something that I LOVE doing, that I have a passion for.

My boyfriend would approve... he's a huge Sooners fan, perhaps because both his parents went there! Lol! Good luck with that!

Sounds like you also have some great plans there... good luck with everything!

Hi there!

Well, I LOVE to cook (that's a good thing, because I LOVE to eat!)
I tend to make yummy comfort dishes...I make a great Chicken and Mushroom bake, I was very proud of my attempt at a home-made pot-pie this week (everything from scratch!) I also love my minestrone soup...
I have perfected the pumpkin roll...mostly I just like to play around with flavors I like to come up with fun new dishes. Cooking is so much fun and very theraputic...esp. when you get to eat the finished product!

Hi Rhonda, and thanks again!

Actually, I was born in and lived in the States up until 6 months ago. My hubby is in the AF so we are stationed out here until '07 - not a bad assignment at all!

Hmm....sports to watch or play? To watch I love Cycling (duh) basketball, gymnastics, ice skating, diving, track and field. To play, I cycle (woohoo) and do the "gym thing" for the weights and for recovery. I use to run (marathons) until a knee injury ended my running career
I miss running SO much, but at least I can still be active with cycling. I hope to take up swimming this year as well!

Yeah, cooking can be a lot of trial and error! It is so great when it omes out right though, isn't it?

If there was one place I could go...I have a lot of places that I would like to go to! I would love to see New Zealand or Australia...I have always wanted to go. Maybe someday! I also want to see Germany, Scotland, and Ireland...all very realistic what with where I am living right now!

I've had some catching up to do but i've made it!.

Ok i know your loving your stay here in the UK so far, but is there anywhere else you want to visit while your here?.

Could you ever see your life without your babies now?.

I know you've been to a traditional British pub for a meal, but have you been back to your local and what did you have to eat?

Hi Susan! I was starting to wonder when I was going to get more questions!

You are right, I love it here in the UK. There is SO much I want to see on the island alone, that it can get overwhelming! I really want to go up to the Lake District and Scotland. I would love to make it over to Ireland, too. Mainly just drive through the countryside and take in the sites. I love all od the history!

No! I cannot imagine my life without the boys at all...I am so blessed to have them!

Haven't been back to the local pub yet...I did enough damage eating my way through Christmas around here. Bri and I were thinking about perhaps this weekend...after a looonnngg bike ride!

Hi Beth!

So happy you like the pics in my Siggy...I FINALLY got around to doing it!

1. Favorite time of the year in Fall and winter. I love transition seasons - Fall is always so lovely - and I love the cold and the rain and snow...so I am a happy camper right now!

2. Well, I am making dinner right now, so the fridge has a platter of breaded mushrooms to go into the oven, milk, lots of fruits and veggies, whipped cream cheese, ice tea, soup, bread, crumpets, apple sauce, beef (for Bri) and tomato sauce...among a bunch of various sauces and spices, yoghurts. Oh yeah, and 2 dozen eggs.

3. Oh goodness! You are going to laugh, but my all time biggest food weakness is raisins...once I have one, I just cannot stop. That pretty much applies to ALL dried fruit! I just cannot have it in the house or else I lose all control. I am such a goober.
