Going to wrap some last minute gifts in front of my electric fireplace (yeah, it's pathetic, but we MISS our real one in our old house), listen to xmas music and just relax for the festivities tomorrow and Saturday.

I went to work today and it was fun -- a useless day for working, but fun!

Ew don't go see The Polar Express... the characters look soul-less! Go see Finding Neverland, I might go see that tomorrow!

Oh and I love that today's Christmas Eve Eve. That's what I said earlier today!

We braved the malls today - scary and I'm never doing it again. But I did get a cute button down shirt from Express to wear on Christmas.

Movin' on up!
Today was so slow, that I only worked 4 hrs - they let some of us go home early. One of my coworkers had to take care of some business, on my side of town and I gave him a ride and took him to the grocery store. I remember the days of trying to haul groceries home, on the bus.

Bill had a burger craving so we went to the 5 and Diner for dinner. Just got home and I'm already in my flannel jammies, fleecy robe and slippers. We're expecting an overnight low of 28
I predict that there will be one large lump, in the middle of our bed. Opie's already there and has been, for most of the day.

Groan, all I'm doing tonight is watching cheesecakes cook....AGAIN! I'll be staying up until around 11, when they get done, 'cause hub will be going to bed early so he can get up early and bake some more orange rolls and dinner rolls that have been ordered,

Wouldn't be so darn bad, but he's cooked cheesecakes every night since Sunday night, and made yeast rolls and orange rolls the past two mornings......but the extra money does come in handy this time of year!

I'm feeling so unchristmasy this year.
I did the grocery shopping today (hardly anyone at the grocery store thank goodness). All the gifts are under the tree and I was unable to get to hobby lobby to get the remainder of things I need to finish hubs lasy gift. I'm really upset. I took a hot bath just to relax and started reading the first Lemony Snicket book. I just feel numb about the holiday this year. My mom is in Florida, my father is in Maine... the inlaws are in Vermont... and here we are in Kentucky. I guess I'm just a little sad because the holidays were always such a great family event when I was growing up and this year it is just hub and I. I can't think about it anymore or I'll cry.
The recent snow is making me miss Vermont as well...

Aw no crying Beth... Baylee and I will be your family too! Sorry can't help more... I WISH I could be spending it with just my boyfriend and Bay... however Christmas day for me will involve a 3 hour drive and time spent with both families!

If you have any extras...

I'm bored out of my mind-all we did today was shovel snow and sit and stare at it. Ever notice when you can't go anywhere you think of 50 places you need to go? I won't be able to get my car out until well after August. I've been stuck at home all day long!
