Even though it's a Christian school in question here, I want to touch on the Separation of Church and State.

It doesn't say, but if they are homosexual, you can hate them or cast them out.
tes that even remotely mentions the separation of church and state.

The First Amendment of the Constitution states:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

This means that the government cannot establish a religion. THAT'S IT. END OF DISCUSSION. That is the only place in the Constitution religion is even mentioned! This whole nonsense of separation of church and state was mentioned in a letter written by Thomas Jefferson in 1802 to a Baptist church who was afraid that a national religion was going to be established.

Thank-you Buckeye!! I could't have said it better myself.

Yes, true, God says to love thy neighbor.... Love your neigbor as yourself, etc. BUT again, loving something (or someone) doesn't mean to NEVER correct, teach, rebuke, etc. You shouldn't hate but sometimes "love" is tough. I am sure if you love a drug addict or an alcohlic that wouldn't include letting them continue their destructive behavior and not bringing SOME KIND of correction to it!! _____________

The U.S. Supreme Court, whose task is to interpret the Constitution, has made several rulings on separation of church and state, so to say there's "no such thing" goes against a great many of those rulings:

The debate will probably continue for the next few centuries, with the courts being called upon to distinguish between "public" and "private".

Who has the RIGHT to bring any kind of correction to this boy's sexual preference?? There is nothing destructive about this 18 year old being a homosexual. If that is what he wants to be, so be it. You can not even compare being gay with someone who is addicted to drugs or alcohol.
