I was wondering have any of you people tried this brand of body care products. I was shopping and saw this shop and it seems quite nice and with heavenly scent upon entry into the shop. But did not purchase anything. Was wondering whether have any of you people tried it before. I am tempted to abandon body shop for this.

I've tried the hand cream - pricey and I didn't notice anything spectacular about it. Also tried some lip balm - same thing.

Go ahead and give it a go though, you might enjoy the scents, however I just found it to be too expensive for what you get.

I'm not sure about L'Occittane but i know that the Body Shop don't test on animals, only use natural products, are big on helping the world community and also promote healthy body images for women. They are also really ethical and treat their staff very well ( i went for an interview with them once). The French stuff smells good but for the quality i think the Body Shop is equal and it's cheaper so you can buy more. Have you tried their Xmas Sugar and Spice Body Butter? It smells sooooo good i almost want to eat my arms off!!

I belong to a website called makeupalley.com and everyone seems to love these products. You can sign up on the website and read reviews on almost any type of beauty product, make-up, hair products, skin, etc....

Well personally i dont go to the body shop anymore it is too expensive for me.

I go to a french shop called Yves Rocher. I signed up so i get mail and when i go into the shop to get discounts i get something cute. for free.
I dont know if you have them up there but when my cousin came she said that they have them in italy and in france, maybe it is a european store but i find it more convenient because i have read they dont test on animals and have great deals. But i only buy deodarent there hehe because my bf likes it! its made out of bamboo tea and it smells great.

I really like L'Occitane products. I use the shea butter in the tin every day on my hands, also started using it as an under eye cream at night. The hand cream doesn't do much for me, doesn't seem rich enough. I also love the body cream, it's very rich. The soap is good if you are a bar soap person, but I like liquid soap.

I use the bar soap and it's very, very good. Does not leave a film and has some good stuff in it that gets your skin clean but conditioned. It's very popular up here.
