Squirrels gotta eat too!

Tiggy and Petals kept a close eye on someone we had for lunch.......Squeaky the squirrel.......we feed him every day, summer, spring, winter or fall. He's so cute.

Great pictures, Susie! I miss the squirrels we use to feed! Squeaky is a lucky little fellow! And your kits must love the action they get to watch!

Oh yeah Sarah, they always sit on our kitchen table and watch, or if they aren't up there, I'll say, "where are your friends" and they'll go look out the window!!!

I also get blue jays and woodpeckers eating. We give them peanuts in the shells.

Aw how cute - both them looking at the squirrel, and the squirrel himself! It looks so gorgeous outside - all snow-covered...

Well Sonja, we feed Squeaky peanuts in the shell. He's so cute. He'll come up on the deck and sit on the railing every morning about 8 and wait for me. He runs when i come out, but not far. As soon as I go back in the house, he runs up on the deck and sits there with his little paws, holding the nuts and cracking open the shells.......the kits start watching for him about 8 also. Funny how animals know time........or maybe it's just the routine.

OMG ! the Squirrel is so nice!!!! the sindicate of Furballs are going to make plans to "how to go outside to play with the Squirrel"

Rigel, I don't think my kits would know what to do if I let them outside.........I think they'd just freeze!!!

We feed the squirrels on our back deck for cheap entertainment for the kitties. Here are all 7 lined up to watch "their" squirrels!

I actually put some bread on my window sill yesterday since there were so many birds out looking for food. I was hoping that they would come to window so the kitties would have something to watch. But the birds didn't come while we were watching......but ALL the bread was gone by this morning. I guess they waited until they felt the coast was clear.

WIsh I had had my camera handy this morning. Squeaky was sitting on the window ledge outside looking in the kitchen, and Tiggy was up there, nose to nose.....by the time I got back with the camera, Squeaky had jumped down.....
