Hi,

I guess I have a question, want your thoughts and opinons. Here goes, as some of you know my baby Pickles was recently diagnosed with cancer, (squamous cell). We found out in October, we had been battling what we thought was an infection in his ear according to his vet. The vet told us in August it appeared to be an ear infection and gave him meds, stuff to clean his ear. Told us he saw what he thought was a polyup and didn't think it was cancer. Told us to bring him back in 2 weeks well we did this a few times, finally after spending about 600
dollars, he said Pickles needed more aggressive treatment, he told us to take him to the MSPCA in Boston, MA which we did. Well Pickles ended up having to have a total ear ablation, (total ear canal removal). And surprisingly the so called not to worry polyup was cancer
They also wanted to know how long he had
a heart murmur guess his vet missed that too. So after another 2300 or so he is home and we continue love him, as we know he may not be here for too long
I guess my question is would you take him back to his vet or would you keep taking him to the vets he sees at the MSPCA? He also now sees a cat cardiologist (how cute) for his
So I am not sure if I should even bother with his vet, let me know your thoughts and thanks for listening

I think anytime you have to ask that, then you should probably change. But that's just my opinion... that and it doesn't sound like the vet is too great.

Thanks, I do feel the same way, and I am going to keep taking him to the new vet.
