Hi, This is my Icki Kitty! I have had Ick since I was 20 years old and I am now 36. He's been through all of my boyfriends, heartaches and joy. He loves my husband who he has known for 11 years. We live in Manhattan, well barely, LOL! Icki has just gotten through Radio-Iodine treatment for his thyroids and was also diagnosed with CRF I am VERY close to my cat but I will try not to be selfish and put him through too much. He seems happy and healthy (well, you know) as of today Uh... I sound like I'm chanting a mantra or something. Anyway thats all for now, nice to be here, I'll need the support and also lend an ear if needed.

Hi Miensa . I'm so glad you found TCS! You couldn't have found a better place to be surrounded by caring, supportive people. I know you have Icki Kitty's happiness & best interests @ heart , and with all the years and events you have gone through together, are very connected......trust that.
We'll be here for you. I know you'll get some wonderful support through the Health & Nutrition Forum where many others are going through this .
My oldest, Jesabel was diagnosed with very early stage hyperthroidism about 1 year ago. She's on half a 10mg Tapazole tablet 2xday , and is doing well.

The two of you must have such a strong, wonderful relationship, you have been with eachother through so many transitions, heartaches and joys!You have such a strong baby to be so bravely triumphing over the hurdles in his path. sorry to hear about Icki health Its always hard as they get older but there is so much great information on this forum and you will always get so much support from us all should you ever need it
