So, as I'm heading out for about a week in a matter of hours, I wanted to take a moment and wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
It is this time of year where we remember our friends, and show our appreciation for them.
The Cat Site has been an enormous help with my fuzzbottomed friends this year. Without this place, I believe wholeheartedly that Simon would be dead or sickly (I wouldn't have known how to care for him at such a young age), and that Pengy still would be living under the bed, no contact, no movement, nothing.
And then there are the friendships that have been started here. And those, in both dark days and in light, have provided me with an outlet for my thoughts, and sent me hugs and love and hope and joy. And for that I will be eternally appreciative.
~For all those who've rescued a cat this year, thank you.
~For all those who've lost a family member, either human or feline, you are loved.
~For all those who've gone through a hard year, the next one will be better.
And for everyone, may this season bring out the best, and may you recreate the joy and love you experience this season all year long; for it is with love and joy that we prosper, that our heart grows, and that we experience life for what it is...an adventure to be lived 100%.
