YAY everyone! Thanks for the replies!!!

Okay, those last pictures were taken at 7:00 this morning. These new pictures were taken a little after 9:30 am here. I found some new batteries and went outside to take some pics. My feet sunk so far into the snow, it's getting soooo deep!!! YAY!
Now it is 4:30 in the afternoon and the snow is soooooooooooooo deep!!! They say we should have 12-18 inches by morning. That's so awesome! Except i feel so sad for the homeless people and stray animals.

Juice looking outside at the snow (and especially the birds!):

A shot from the outside looking in at Juicy:

Another shot from my front porch:

A look down the street:

My new car getting covered:

A front angle of the Lincoln showing the drift:

This is a picture from this morning. There's a little brown spot by the tree. It's a squirrel who was digging in the snow for some corn I'd put out yesterday.

This is our birdbath as of about 4:30 this afternoon.

This is Ms. Grace stealing a little breakfast this morning.

We're hoping to head south tomorrow at some point. I don't think the state of Mississippi is going anywhere.

Well they just declared my area a snow emergency and won't let anyone drive. Where in Indiana does everyone else live?

Well, I was just about ready to whine again because we haven't had any snow, but I just glanced out the window and it's coming down and already everthing has a coating of snow on it!

Thanks, Lacey! I've been looking for new Juicy pictures and you filled that void today. Hope you have a nice holiday as well. Stay warm!

I'd never thought I'd say this, but right now, I'm wishing I were in Indiana! It looks SO beautiful and Christmasy there. Sigh! I'm envious.

This is my favorite picture of Juicy. It looks like he's saying "Mommy, what are you doing out there? Come INSIDE!"

hehe! thanks everyone! You shoulda seen him, i think that's really what he was saying! He was freaking out! It's just like when i'm in the shower and he presses his face against the glass and looks at me and meows with that same look on his face like, "what are you doing? GET OUT!!!" hehe, he's so precious.

Evansville is now officially in a state of emergency. Stay safe everyone

It started snowing finally! We maybe have an inch and a half right now, but we might get up to 10 inches. I live in Muncie. Just 40 miles away, in Richmond, there is a snow emergency. The snow seems spoty in this part of Indiana. We're going to Paoli Peaks tomarrow to ski. It should be perfect! They have over 14 inches of natural powder snow already!!

Good luck getting to Paoli Peaks!

Amie - Mississippi may not be going anywhere, but with our snow and the icy roads through Kentucky, you may not be going anywhere either!

We may not be going anywhere on Christmas Eve. We were to have spent time with nephew's family. I hope to dug out by next Wednesday...

Our plans are in a state of flux this morning. I'm happy to stay home but my husband is very, very upset. If I can get him to settle down everything will be okay. If he stays mad all weekend, then we won't be happy campers!

AW! That stinks, Amie. Is it his family you were supposed to be visiting? I feel bad for him, but at least you'll be safe staying home if you don't end up going. My boyfriend is stuck in Louisville. He tried to come home last night (not a smart idea) and got turned around by state police in Corydon. There were cars stuck out there everywhere! He is so upset and just wants to be home. I want him to be home too,,,,but SAFE!

Well, we tried to make it out of Muncie, but to no avail. Apparently 37 is closed, so no Paoli Peaks for us today. Delaware Co. just declared a snow emergency. It's very pretty outside at least
