I extend this to all my friends every christmas. I am fortunate enough to have a loving wife and a terrific five year old son. Some of you may not have anyone to goto or share christmas with and no one should be alone over the holiday period.
So, as always, over the holiday period my door remains open to you all, there is a couple of spare rooms with beds and the food is plentiful, the drinks hot (I cant drink alcohol at the moment due to extended ill health), however, can always get some in if you would like one or a few. Can play one tequila, two tequila, three tequila - floor. The house is warm and welcoming as is the invitation. So if you do find yourself alone this holiday period, then let me know, then walk, jump, fly or drive over to Yorkshire and call by and have some time with us three and the walking furball cat that we are owned by!
Best wishes to you all.
Kev

How I would love to visit and see the sites. But... it is nice and warm here in California and you are so far away
I am glad you will have a Happy Holiday with family and friends. Thanks for the hospitality!

What a kind thought Kev.
I will be sort of alone this Christmas - have the kitties of course! I plan to spend the day in my jim jams, not have a wash (so perhaps I would not be welcome
) and eat myself sick! Drink vodka when I want and watch trash tv til I pass out, which has to be after 6.30 cos of Mischa injections.
Have a Good Christmas Kev. We are expecting snow here in the Midlands - what about you ooopp north?

Sounds great! I love Leeds - I went to uni there in the 60s and then worked at the Grand Theatre. I also did my MA through Trinity and All Saints College in Horsforth! But I shall be in Sarajevo with the cats this Christmas and some friends will drop in. Christmas is not a national holiday here as it is a Moslem country more than anything else but Bosnians are always happy to borrow anyone elses' festivals for a good time. Say Hi to the Headrow for me!

That is so sweet of you to offer your hospitality to us!
We will be having our last quiet Christmas for quite a few years, as we will have a grandbaby next year. He will we be old enough to know something special and fun is happening.

I wish I could come visit you. I have nowhere to go on Christmas Day. I'll spend it here with my kitties. Hopefully, I'll be able to pruchase a couple of new DVD's on Friday to watch on Christmas.

Under the cats, mostly.
Aw Kev that's real sweet. There'll just be myself and mum and Alex this year... I know it's not the same as being alone, but it still is kinda lonely compared to what we're used to. I think it'll be nice to have a change of pace though. It'll be nice to put my feet up and recouperate toop - apparently I'm anaemic as well as depressed! So spinach, here I come
bleaugh!

Not too much of a haze I hope, but maybe the stronger ones will work for you - Christmas is great for the kids isnt it?
(Mischa has diabetes so is getting 2xdaily injections - sorry it didnt make much sense without the 's' on the end of Mischa).
Have never been to Leeds - Liverpool is as far north as I have ever been and that was only to the Tate and Albert Docks then scuttled back home again. Us Midland folk aint good travellers

p.s. read about the new job
good luck
