How come it is that they get the whole desk, and I have to type from my lap???

Does anyone else have this problem?

Ahh, two of your "supervisors" hard at work, I see! They seem to be doing a good job. Where's the third?

Control? What is that? The 4 cats have me wrapped around their little paws and the birds have me wrapped around their talon's.... I have no control... and loving every minute of it!

Trixie doesn't really like to lay up there. She likes to come lay at my feet. Thank goodness, or I'd be sitting on the floor while they had the desk and the chair!!!

I ever had control?

Gandalf likes to sleep on my lap while I'm at the computer most of the time. Recently, probably because it is so cold he and Samwise fight for the shelve right above the computer montior because it's warm to sleep there which means some nights one cat will be on the shelf and the other will be ontop of the monitor with his tale hanging down over monitor.

LOL! That is sooo adorable! You really dont need to use the desk. It's easier to type if the keyboard is in your lap.

I had to give Molly her own chair by my computer because we'd have fights over who got the chair when. now she reaches out and pokes me in the butt with a claw when she wants attention... Which is worse? lol

Well cats are smart, they know if they both sat on your lap, they'd be all squashed together and uncomfortable, when they take over your entire desk, they can spread out and be really relaxed and comfy. And you do want them to be nice and comfortable don't you? BTW, I completely lost control a L-O-N-G time ago.

Rob came by just as I was starting to look at this thread, read the original post, guffawed and said "How come Suzy gets the whole chair, and I have to perch on the edge???"
