Onions?

I read a old article in Cat Fancy and it said onions are dangerus to cats and dogs...Is this true?I dont give my cat any,but I still would like check.

Thanks,would giving my cat potato chps with onion powder in them hurt him?I havent yet,but want to check.

pooky steer clear of any kind of onion or garlic or tomato anything for your kitty. Just feed normal cat food and you should be fine-

Yes, it doesn't matter what form the onion is in, it's still onion and harmful.

Thanks for the info about tomatoes Hissy. I didnt know about tomatoes. What do tomatoes do? (Before I weened him off people food Tousse used to love french fries with ketchup)
