Scream with me!

As some of you know that I've being served notice at work and it's puzzling to me cos my company has recently renewed my contract and when they did that, nothing was reflected back to my agent. They said nothing about me being unable to perform at work...

Guess what I just found out... I was served notice cos the Asia Pacific manager whom I work closely with hated my guts and complained to my immediate boss that I was difficult to work with.. and he distorted the truth in front of my immediate boss. As he is on good friendly terms with my immediate boss, I was given the sack!

I am so hopping mad!!! although i can't prove anything but I dun believe such a thing could actually happen in a huge company!!! sacrificed because somebody didn't like me!!

I was pretty upset at losing this job but now i truly believe that I belong to somewhere else!! Somewhere that would appreciate my true capability!

AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! i am so sorry you are having to go through that! Some people are just so awful. But you are right you are meant to be somewhere else. I hope you find a great place to work where all the people are nice and treat you like you should be treated! oh and dont worry that jerk will get his one day!!

It's upsetting to know that such things do happen and thankfully my agent has bothered to ask me what happened and I'm not sure what is gonna happen after that but definitely happy to leave the place!!

You need to talk to lawyer...that is rediculous!!!!!!!!!!!!

that's what i felt!

it's legal in the US to be fired because someone doesn't like you.. Just not if it has to do with protected rights (sex, race, age, etc..). That's what at will hiring is about.. If you wanted to quit because you didn't like your boss would you be sued? of course not..

But that said, I want to 'ARGGGGHHHHHHH' too because it's stupid and that's a horrible reason and if for some reason he had an issue with you he should have taken it up with you.. and distorting the truth is just immature.. be glad you no longer work with that person and I bet you'll find something better soon.
