okay, i have been to every popular site on the internet(i think) and i have been looking all over for cheap airfares, does anyone know of any good not so known websites that have good airfares... or any tricks to getting good fares... i am not good at this stuff, even after i moved out i used to call my dad and he did it for me and he would get me fares for like 125$ round trip across country, i cant find anything for less than 500$
me and my husband flew last x-mas for 600$ for the both of us....
arrrghhh!

i hate that i spend so much time doing this... this is the worst part about going on vacation

Funny you should bring this up. I figured out a way to do this - I print out the cheapest tickets I find online and then take it to a travel agent and see if they can give me cheaper tickets. The prospect of getting business gets them doing work for you to find those tickets.

Online, I found tickets for NZ for $1425 and the travel agent gave me a price of $1359. Not much savings but every penny counts!

let's see, there's

Cheapfares.com
Priceline.com
Hotels.com
Travelocity.com

I'm sure there's more, those come to mind right off.

Have you tried the travel agencies?
They get some good fares sometimes.
