It seems that Petfinders message boards have been hijacked...or at least when I go into the page it redirects me to the following site:

www.y4hoo.net

I did a view source when I got to the petfinder message page and found this:

<link rel="top" href="./index.php" title="www.y4hoo.net Forum Index" />
<link rel="search" href="./search.php" title="Search" />
<link rel="help" href="./faq.php" title="FAQ" />
<link rel="author" href="./memberlist.php" title="Memberlist" />

How do I get rid of it?? I see other people are able to access the site.

Hi Katie,

My husband is a computer programmer. He says that someone has entered programme code into the directions that tells the programme to redirect anyone looking for the original site to this new site.

Basically, whoever is responsible for the site needs to have someone rewrite the code to delete the new directions and restore it to the correct instruction. The part that needs to be rewritten is in the first line of code .. it is bit that follows .. . "title =" .

Hope this helps,
Kathryn

I tried your link
I am redirected as well... That's sad that someone would do that... can you email PetFinders and let them know, include the code and everything?

Katie, I found a way for you to access the Petfinders site. Go back to that site and click on the hyperlink for one of the forums, like "general forums" or "pets forums" (I think that's what they were called). You will have to work really fast to click on the link for the forum you want before you're redirected to that other site, and you might have to try several times before you're successful and can enter. I hope this helps you until the problem can be corrected.
