Just a little at a time, either right after he eats (dry food) or else it is like a little phlegm. Should I take him to the vet tomorrow?
I do not want to be an alarmist.
He seems fine after he throws up.
He is purring, etc. and otherwise acting normal.
He is not meowing or anything.

What do you all think?

Did you change his food as you were planning in an extremely gradual manner, mixing it as I discribed? remember how we discussed if you changed it too abruptly it would cause stomach upset?

In the meantime, if you have any hairball paste like petromalt, try offering him some of that. He could have a hairball that is interfering with his digestion and causing him to vomit a bit. The paste would help to coat it and perhaps move it along. It is unlikely to cause any further problems if that is not the problem. Good luck in finding out what is happening:-).

I hope Humble is feeling better now and it's nothing serious.

I have to second the Petromalt thing..my kitty was throwing up right after she ate every now and then, and was otherwise perfectly fine...so I called the vet and he said it might be hairballs since she has such long hair and was starting to groom herself regularly again..
anyway, we have to trick her into eating by smearing it into her paws, but it has helped her A LOT...like, she still has some issues but its the difference of once a month instead of every couple days.

Buy some petromalt
