One of my Cats has kind of a mucus bloody diarrhea, I was wondering could he get this from eating the kitten's food? he's been sneeking in the bedroom eating it whenever he gets a chance, and he's a piggerman also so I am not to sure how much he's been eating of it, probably off and on for a couple of weeks now, I have never seen him have it before, he's probably at least 11 or 12 years old... Thanks for any information

Bloody diarrhea needs a vet- you should run a fecal in on Monday. It could be parasites, an infection or any number of things, but it should be checked out-

Thanks hissy, Its the first time I have seen it, hope its nothing serious, I've had my share with 12 sneezing cats, and 1 sneezing basset, but at least I think there over that.

Ashleigh had mucousy diarrhea like that and we took in a fecal sample and she had roundworm. They gave her a shot of something right then and there and she was fine a day or two later. I cant remember what it was called though. Im sure someone here knows.
